It’s known for Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple. Gandamadana Parvatham is a hill with island views. A chakra (wheel) here is said to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s feet.Kanyakumari is a coastal town in the state of Tamil Nadu on India's southern tip. Jutting into the Laccadive Sea, the town was known as Cape Comorin during British rule and is popular for watching sunrise and sunset over the ocean. It's also a noted pilgrimage site thanks to its Bagavathi Amman Temple, dedicated to a consort of Shiva, and its Our Lady of Ransom Church, a center of Indian Catholicism.

Upon your arrival at the Madurai Airport or Railway Station, you will be transferred to a hotel by a guide. After freshening up you will arrive at your first stop which is the Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati. One of the oldest temples in India, it features several mythological tales in its inscriptions and architectural design. Then, you will be taken to Thiruparankundram. It is one of the major temples of Lord Murugan. However, the temples also features idols of Shiva, Vishnu, Durga, and Ganesh. Then, you will visit the Azhagar Kovil. This temple features Vijayanagara sculptures and is known for its festival celebrations. Then, you will be taken to the Pazhamudircholai. It is a Hindu temple that is situated in a dense forest. Then, you will arrive at the Koodal Azhagar Temple. After the journey, you will relax at your hotel.

Post breakfast at your hotel, you will be heading out for Rameshwaram. The first location here will be the Hanuman Temple. It is believed to be the place where Hanuman showed his five faced avatar. The idol inside the temple is covered in vermillion and also features Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. Then, you will be taken to Pamban Bridge. This bridge is India’s first sea bridge. Here, you can go across a train journey that connected Rameshwaram to the mainland. Then, you will arrive at the Kashi Viswanatha Temple. It a famous temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It features great idols, architectural style and design. Then, you will be taken across the Dhanushkodi. It a clear town that faced the Gulf of Mannar. It is located on tip of the Pamban Island. Then, you will be taken to the 24 Kundalas. These are believed to be 24 different wells where holy devotees take bath. After the tour, check back into the hotel, overnight at the hotel.

After a lovely breakfast at the hotel you will get another amazing sightseeing tour of this wonderful city. Being so close to the sea and not visiting the beach would definitely leave any holiday incomplete and as such today you will visit the famous Dhanushkodi beach where you can enjoy some time laying around the beach and in the clear waters of the ocean here. Then you will also visit the Ram Setu before return to Rameshwaram town in the evening. You have the evening at leisure to catch up on some shopping or visiting any other places that you like. Come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
